Hey all,

how hard would it be to attain the following hsc marks:

Eco - 96
Eng adv - 96
Eng ext - 48
Math - 96
Math ext - 48
Modern hist - 96

? Referring to the raw marks/difficulty of the subjects etc.

Well, it depends on the person really, but I'd imagine that even the most talented students would find that difficult.

Specifically, how would a 96 in both economics and modern history be on the scale of difficulty? I know it's difficult, but how difficult?

I think both would be of equal difficulty. With economics, the content is more complex, however, with Modern more of the marks are on essay writing, which makes it inherently difficult to hit the high 90s.

I cant be more specific on the exact difficulty, because again, it depends on the person. For some people, it may be impossible, for others they may have to do an insane amount of work, whilst others could do a reasonable amount of work and get there. It is too subjective.
