Hey, i just wanted to ask for a comparison of job prospect for a few degrees/ majors (assuming all at USYD if that helps)

1. Mechanical Engineering Degree
2. Commerce degree majoring in Finance
3. Commerce degree majoring in Commercial Law
4. Commerce degree majoring in Management
5. Commerce degree majoring in International Business
6. Commerce degree majoring in Quantitative Business Analysis.

Why would you choose mechanical engineering? Most companies are moving manufacturing and associated engineering work overseas (eg. Automotive industry -Ford, Toyota etc). There won't be any jobs soon...unless you plan on moving overseas to China where all the work is.

Engineering (all) = dead end now.
