Rearranging to make Ka the subject of an equation (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I can not make Ka the subject of the following equation.

D= P/(1+Ka/H).

Can someone please walk me through it.

D=PH/1+ka
1+ka=PH/D
ka=PH-1/D
Could be wrong, but I think that's how it goes

people, put brackets everywhere to make what you're saying clear!
Meno i think what OP was asking was to rearrange
D= P/(1+(Ka/H)), although it isn't clear from the way he leaves out brackets. technically, using BODMAS, what i typed out is correct, but i can see how you interpreted it in the way you did. you took the question as rearrange D= P/((1+Ka)/H)

i think it should be Ka=((P-D)H)/D

Hi,

My source for this equation has the denominator 1+Ka/H+ in brackets, just one set. So that it is written as D=P/(1+Ka/H+). Some sources leave out that bracket entirely and the formula is written as D=P/1+Ka/H+

Not sure if that will make any difference
