Hey guys,

can I please get an atar estimate, these are my ranks after the half-yearly: what ranks would I have needed in each subject to achieve 95+ Atar

English Advanced: 40/50
Maths 2u: 4/15
Biology: 14/45
Chemistry: 7/16
SOR 1U: 20/46
Maths Ext 1: 4/7

Thanks, can you please estimate an Atar just on these ranks and what marks ine ach subject would I need to get 95+ Atar.

right. My school is a catholic school, it is ranked over 200? wtf school rank got to do with my Atar.

What do you think I would get in my Atar, my bio trial is tommorrow, I think I can increase my rank to top 5.

because coming average in a top 10 school ie james ruse, isn't the same as coming average in a 700s ranked school. Assuming your school rank is 200 I'd say your current atar estimate is looming around mid 80s, you gotta improve all round in those ranks if you wanna hit 95 (especially english)

Exactly, coming last in bio at james ruse is probably better than coming first in bio at a school ranked in 200's, so obviously someone with your set of ranks at james ruse would be looking at a higher atar.

And I'm sorry but if you havent opened your bio textbooks before today, as you said in the cssa bio thread, I highly doubt you will overtake 9 people in bio who have been studying properly to be 5th, in just one exam. how much is bio trial weighted?

30%, I did study, but I need to remember all that info, which is alot
