You're such a fuckwit m8you know there's thing called google, not sure if you've heard of it, but you can search stuff in it
If the science olympiads are anything like the informatics and maths olympiads, 50% is a great mark that very few people would get.heard it was ~50% for hd, but that doesn't look right - i'm sure most ppl can get that mark!
lol that sounds about right tbh, olympiads tend to be quite difficultanyone know cut-offs for previous years? for any subject (bio, chem, phys)
heard it was ~50% for hd, but that doesn't look right - i'm sure most ppl can get that mark!
The cut-offs for the olympiads depend on how hard the test is. In 2010, the cut-off for chem was around 40% or 48/120, and in 2011 it was much higher around 70% or 84/120. So the approximate cut-off each year is around 50-60%. The bio cut-off is higher I think.Do you know the cut-offs for bio/chem? They should be a lot higher (since there is no crazy extension 2 math mechanics in them!)
Oh and good luck to everyone doing the phyics olympiad tomorrow, I'll be sure to fail
