Yep! It definitely does apply for law. For uts, I don't know the name, for UNSW it is the ACCESS Scheme (http://www.law.unsw.edu.au/future-students/undergraduate/entry/access-scheme), for USYD it is the Broadway Scheme (http://sydney.edu.au/current_students/student_administration/admissions/broadway_scheme.shtml)

Note: for USYD and UNSW, as far as I know, it is for a combined law degree. In addition, I think UTS is the most generous with 10 bonus points up for grabs :D.

Yes, UTS offer 10 points for specific cases, such as schools on the SO1A socioeconomically disadvantaged list. I think UNSW offer 5 points for the same thing.

What about personal illness? Or is 10 points mostly for financial disadvantage?

Has anyone gotten into law at uts with an 87?
Not sure, but i assume it's 10 points for all of the listed categories.

I'll tell you in a few months, that's my current aim :p

What would constitute maximum points for the unis? Unsw gives 10 points. The law cut off is 99.65 .

That means someone with 90atar could get in? Seems unfair.
