Difference between current and previous syllabus (1 Viewer)

Hello All...

Is there much difference between the current and previous Business Studies syllabus?

Would appreciate others answers.

Yes there is.
In the previous syllabus there were 5 (from memory, not 100% sure) topics instead of 4 because global was a separate topic.
If you're doing past papers, some of the questions do relate the the current syllabus, but I'd say more than half are totally irrelevant to the current syllabus. Best to find 2012/13 trial papers, and use the 2012 test as a guide.

Probably, I remember half way through prelims (since I did prelims during Year 9 and 3/4 of Year 10) we had to make a complete turn on what we were studying.

As for the actual changes I'm not too sure. For the HSC though as Sammie said they just changed it from 5 to 4 topics with the 5th topic being added at the end of each topic and changed Employment Relations into HR and did an overhaul of whatever it was before to operations. (as well as some changes of dotpoints).

Yeah that's probably the case. If there are questions which seem relevant to the new syllabus and you can answer them then go ahead, just skip the irrelevant ones.
