So, just exactly how bad is it to come last in your cohort in terms of assessment rank? Assuming i could do decent in the final HSC exam (came second in my trials). On a scale of 1 to syria, how phucked am i?

Depends on your cohort! If your cohort is really strong and you're last, it shouldn't be too big of a problem because the gaps in between the marks should be low.

Of course coming last is bad! You get the lowest exam mark (of your cohort) as your assessment mark! So if someone bombs, GG mate!

If someone bombs they don't get counted in the moderation process. Anyone who scores significantly below expected based on their assessment is taken out for moderation.
