Haha, I just had a funny thought (which won't happen) but imagine if Barry Hall came out of retirement and joined GWS.
I thought that this was possible. He definitely has another year or so in him.

Hall, Cameron, Patton, Boyd.
It'll be a crowded forward 50.
Crowded... Just look at the swans forward 50.

I'm still not 100% sure that the deals with Mumford and Shaw to the Giants are actually accepted.

If they select Shane Mumford in the draft they won't be able to select the number 1 draft pick for the draft (which they want). Remember both drafts are joined together.
Most likely due to Buddy Franklin moving to Swans, it will automatically be considered a trade due to their salary cap. All they need to do I would say is get it accepted by the AFL. But you say it is a trade so they need to give away players... Though, they have buddy, not enough room in the cap meaning Mumford is moving/traded (due to Buddy) to the Giants.
I believe the AFL just need to send the information to the Swans and its all accepted.

With Heath Shaw. Collingwood are leading the race in securing Taylor Adams, meaning a trade is done with Heath Shaw. Heath Shaw will move to the Giants if it is successful that Adams moves to Collingwood.

Trust me he's a giant now.

BREAKING:
Ben McEvoy has been trade to the hawks for shane savage and pick 17.
Well what if the AFL didn't accept the Buddy offer. Mumford would have had to stay in the Swans and it will look stupid.

But just read this:

I think it needs to be accepted by the AFL before its a confirmed trade. Even if Buddy's contract was not accepted by the AFL he would have still moved.

'With the recruiting of Swans premiership ruckman Shane Mumford we have acquired a quality player and person who will provide leadership on and off the field.' - See more at: http://www.gwsgiants.com.au/news/2013-10-09/chairmans-letter-to-members#sthash.5X1W6Jt2.dpuf
There's your answer...
Exactly, its been done but needs to be successfully accepted by both the Swans and the AFL. Though, I think the swans have accepted it so it now has to go through the AFL, think it will be confirmed successfully on the last few days of trade.

As I said, it would end up being a trade as the Swans want Buddy, they got buddy and to go within the cap they released Mumford, its all done by the trade. So should be accepted by AFL by the end of the trade period.
