Definitely not. The one in that paper actually comes out nicely. You can have horrible questions like where the regular deposit changes, where the monthly repayment changes, where the interest rate changes (for both superannuation and loan repayments) or combinations of these.
They appear in the actual hsc?

This is probably harder 2U though, which would go into 3U.

It's definitely possible. It has appeared in trial papers on a few occasions. As for the HSC itself, I'm not sure if it has appeared before from memory.

I think some of the 90s papers had some harder types but can't remember.

Haha fucking English. So glad it's over. On topic: the super/repayments qns they have asked since the 2000s have been relatively straight forward.

There's a pattern going on (don't know if you guys have noticed) but max and min problems only really come out as a major question (i.e. lots of marks/end of the paper) every 2nd year.

Nah i checked... and from 2006-2009 there are like max/min questions worth like 4-5 marks.. there's never any really pattern in hsc exams

Yeah, but i still think max min will be Q 16... hopefully it's not too bad if there is one :p Time repayment i thinkk will also be near q15-16
