I need DESPERATE HELP with financial expectation! I've attached the question and my working and I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong? I was out of class the lessons we did this so i've mostly taught it to myself...

I remember that question^. The financial expectation is something like (240x1/96) + (120x1/95) + (60x2/93)

And therefore the financial gain is expected to be the financial expectation -$6 which gives -$0.75

I can't remember for the life of me the probability they used to get the answer though, the ones I used just then seem correct to me and it gives the wrong answer so idk. I do remember the question though and you can get A.

Anyone wanna refresh me on stratified etc. samples? Lost my notes and I don't wanna have to drive over and get them. ._.

Just finished doing it.. I found MC alright, got 20/22 but short questions were t.e.r.r.i.b.l.e overall got 80/100 ! I thought the whole paper was worded :L

did 2010 past paper and scored 83/100 haha :L and MC stuffed me up !

I put 11ay over 1 as a fraction then you can cross out both the Ys then just multiply both top and bottom
