I was expecting more integration (i mean they put partial fractions and no integration. WTF!!!) and was expecting more volume questions.
Yeah me too. Those were 2 of the 3 topics i expected to be big players in the exam, and barely anything was asked on them,

i) 0.2401

ii)

I think these were my answers.
How come its 7C1 for the second one?

I put:
8C3 (0.2401)^3 (0.7699)^5 + 8C4 (0.2401)^4 (0.7699)^4 + 8C5 (0.2401)^5 (0.7699)^3 + 8C6 (0.2401)^6 (0.7699)^2 + 8C7 (0.2401)^7 (0.7699)^1 + 8C8 (0.2401)^8

Is that right? =/

the test was kinda hard. made like 9 or 10 mistakes
1. didnt attempt the zw - wz question but realised how to do it at home
2. for the car question, i misread the question and did 4 cars instead of 8. i think i'll only lose 1 though.
etc

There was actually not much poly at ALL. Freaking poly was so easy and they only gave around 5-6 marks of polynomials. Overall i think it was very biased towards complex/conics/mechanics in comparison to last year.
OH AND harder 3u.

Ruse and NSB have around 4 100% raw each. So I'm guessing cut off will be higher :(

If anyone was wondering how the marks were distributed across topics:
Complex numbers - 18
Polynomials - 6
Conics - 8
Graphs - 8
Integration - 16
Volumes - 5
Mechanics - 15
Harder 3u - 24

Didnt realise there was so much complex numbers haha

Pretty happy that there wasn't really inequalities. And our predictions about mechanics came true.
