This is an outright guess, but I think for this year it'll be 50/70.

With the new format you can't really tell just yet though.

guise i know that they CAN technically ask it, im just saying they wont ask it. clearly in 2001 when the exams changed a bit, they stopped putting in this finance junk. yeah i know fuck all about finance haha, im just gonna settle for a low E4 if one somehow comes in.

nek minute a finance question which is usually 3 marks is in multiple choice.

i reckon they will put harder 2u in the multiple choice.

You're confusing aligning with scaling

Nope. It was like 55/70 last year with the easiest test of the century. It should be closer to, if not, 50/70 this year if the test isn't as easy.

Also pre-format change when it was /84 the cut-off was ~57/84. So 50/70 seems about right.

84 in Ext 2 is still equivalent to an ATAR of 98. You'll have to get 89 today to maintain that. What is your ATAR aim?

Braintic, can I get 99 ATAR if I am terribad at engrish (rank 8/21 at rank 150 school, with ~65/105 in trial exam) and I got 90/91 and 94/95 for MX2 and MX1 based off carrot's work, and im ranked 1st in phys and chem and want 92+ in both? How much should I get in chem and phys for 99+ and also, how bad do u think my english will go?

I feel like my story was 12-13/15, short answers 11/12, essay 10-12, and modules no idea.
