Its just as small as one, and I'm pretty sure he would be willing to look for something flexible. Just out of curiosity, what about a Lotus Elise? Seen a few of them here.Not a hatch.

Lotus are cheap to buy even brand new- had a mate haggle a lot off a new one as dealerships pull out

So I'm guessing you are going purely hatch then.
What are the specific functions you want though?
Do you want: Luxury? Comfort? Handling? Economy? Passenger space? Boot space? Looks?
Of course you will want all of these, but it would really help us help you decide if you list these in preference.

lol i read your initial post again and completely misinterpreted what you said.
Trivett? Interesting. I would've thought rick damelian (not sure if they sold lotus new) but it seems logical as he did go into liquidation.
