I noticed that there are quite a few posts regarding related texts but I haven't really been able to find one that links to Skrzynecki's poetry. Any suggestions?

What would you guys think of:
- Paul Keating's "Redfern Speech"
- Kite runner

I'm doing Feliks, 10 Mary Street + Migrant Hostel but can change it if there are better links
Concepts of belonging:
- belonging and not belonging to place
- being content not belonging
- displacement of home

As long as they aren't on the BOS prescribed text list they should be fine!
For som more options I used
Gone with the wind(film)- barriers to belonging, belonging and not belonging to a place
Mansfield Park (mini tv series from the 80s)- societal clashes causing barriers to belonging, belonging to a class group, identity issues etc.
The Power of One (novel by Bryce Courtenay)- being content in not belonging, belonging to small groups, barriers to belonging, choice to belong/not belong

I'm sure there are more aspects to these texts but they are the three I chose to broadly cover the topic and they seem to have worked well throughout the year

One thing you should remember is that your related text does not have to have similar plots to Skrzynecki, but you should try your best to extract as many concepts about belonging as possible, ideally your two related texts should cover all points of the belonging rubric altogether-that way, you can using either or both to answer any question on belonging, -make sure you are able to link the KEY IDEAS in relation to BELONGING in a sophisticated manner in your related text to your prescribed and you will be fine:)

As an English teacher and HSC marker your choice of Poems and related texts are very commendable and if you can make the link to belonging/alienation and follows similar ideas to immigrant chronicle poms or the opposites of these . There MUST be a common link to the text and your poems and they in turn link to belonging concepts

Good advice. I'd also recommend you doing Dead Poets Society (I did that), a film directed by Peter Weir, 1989.
