guys honestly, if the cutoff for band 6 is higher, then it's higher for the whole state and it wouldn't have affected your atar anyway because its the rank that matters.

The whole state doesn't do physics. Though it's more the scaling rather than aligning that affects the ATAR.

Really? I only got 88/105 for trials (and this dragged down my internal rank), but I got a 92 external and 94 internal. I thought 92 HSC mark would be like low 80s.

Nah (unless your options aligned very well). Look at Randox's English marks.

85/105 TWM got an 88 exam mark.

Mmm, I did Dickinson, Frankenblade, Speeches, and Julius Caesar. Do they align well?

Idk. Also, the alignment changes every year so its hard to say.

Ask Randox as the raw marks he posted didn't include the alignment of individual modules and he did two of the same modules as you.

SOR I: 46/50 went to 47.
IT Multimedia: 93/100 went to 96.
Modern History: 83/100 went to 88.

Looks like 2 unit cut off was 75 as I predicted after doing the test haha.

I don't know. If I get the paper back then I can answer that.

By the looks of things, my 14/20 in mc means I must have gotten 70/80 in the rest.

If I get the marks, and I got over 23/25 in my option, then they aren't marking easily, because 45/55 is generally what I would get when doing past papers at home.

If I got around 48/55 then they are definitely marking us easily.

I guess that'd be the case, looks like my option scaled down 2 marks from 86 to 84.

Ok so the band 6 cut-off seems to be 83 raw.

Also astrophysics was pretty difficult this year, so that's probably why is scaled well.
