The Summer break/holiday is around 3 months?
I heard from some people in Macq get a month break in Winter and breaks differ from uni to uni.
What are the breaks in UNSW if I'm doing BCom full-time ? Are there breaks around Easter and Spring ?
How long approximately is each break?

Thanks!

Yeah. I finished November 23 and I go back on like March 3.

Yes, because MQ breaks are weird (i.e. two weeks mid-semester break) and other stuff I'm sure too.

Here are the 2013 dates of breaks:

End of Year Break: to March 3 (includes O-Week)
Mid-Semester Break for Semester 1: March 30 to April 7
StuVac (exam study break): June 8 to June 14
Mid-Year Break: June 30 to July 28 (includes O-Week)
Mid-Semester Break for Semester 2: September 28 to October 7
StuVac: November 2 to November 8
End of Year Break: November 25 to...

They're usually based around weeks, but sometimes public holidays factor in, and stuff.

I prefer the holiday/term structure of primary and high school as opposed to the holiday/semester structure of uni. But I guess uni holidays are good times to travel.

^ Also a great period for vacation internships, a 1-1.5 month break would hardly be enough
