Just wondering whose lyrics you admire and think are a piece of art.

For me, it would have to be Chris Martin, Lorde and Matt Corby.

Some alternative bands like Two Door Cinema Club, but not as great as those mentioned above.

Eazy E and some other NWA members.

The funniest stuff you can come across.

Anyone here heard of "Laws".

Tried to be a lyrical genius, said he was better than Tupac, but miserably failed lol.

There's only one good song he's made (and its a remix of someone else's song) but no-where near a genius.

i think Cube and Ren pretty much made all the NWA lyrics and Eazy E only wrote lyrics much later in his career (coincidentally for songs with mediocre lyrics)

Dame.

Makes sense because the early songs usually are rapped better by Ren and Cube (Like f-tha police).

Eazy E's lyrics are horrendously funny though (like Nuts on ya chin).

Really? REALLY?
Lol. Only the country and soft acoustic ones (first album + fearless). She used to do more of those back in the days. I liked those ones more.

And for Ed, it would be like all of his acoustic.. coz it's just damn amazing.

The other artists I mentioned, selectively some songs are very meaningful.
