Lol bc you know all about burning out after only being in 4 weeks of prelim :p
Uh, yeah if I didn't know what it was, why would I comment about it in the first place?

And no, I'm not implying I'm going to burn out if you were wondering RR.

school is tough... HSC is tough... Life is tough... i quit.
This attitude is normal lol
During prelim there were heaps of times where I was like "fuck it ceebs"
Just find a decent balance between school and other activities to maintain sanity and time. Don't completely slack off, but don't go hardcore either. Just find a balance, remain organised and find a sense of motivation that will keep you going for the rest of the two years.

So you've already experienced being burnt out after 4 weeks? I don't think OP has "burnt out" it's more just ceebs. Burning out happens after you go fully hardcore and it's a lethargic process of motivation loss and serious case of ceebs and intensified frustration.

No, I was just pointing out what might happen as a result. If OP is ceebs, then that's their fault having the mentality of "omg, this is too much" because it wouldn't provide any benefit at all would it?

You can't flat out say it's OP's fault for having that mentality, because there are times where school can be too much. Not everyone is perfect and can maintain the stress of school life, so it's a bit callous and frankly immature to say something like that. And realising you are stressed and have this mentality can actually be a good thing because you can learn from your mistakes and attitudes and work towards fixing it or making sure it doesn't happen again. These situations aren't completely one dimensional.

Going by that logic, we would then also have to blame people for being depressed.

"Being depressed won't provide you any benefit, so why be depressed?"

It's a bit more complicated than that.

I never said they're one dimensional - it was when OP said life will be hard for HSC, life etc. that made me assert the assumption that he was going to "burn out". I'm probably wrong since I don't know OP in person.

Just finished Business Studies Homework :3 + I was just wondering if you guys would consider my subject selection somewhat difficult/easy:

Advanced English, Extension 1 Mathematics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies and Economics

+ Wow I would have the same 2015 subject selection as Tunerloos if I fail to make it into Extension 2 Mathematics o_O

No subject is specifically difficult or easy, it depends on the effort you're willing to put into each subject. Having said that, quite a few of your subjects awe time consuming and require constant revision, so make sure to keep up to date. :)
