What are your chances of getting a 90+ atar with standard english and industrial tech.

Quite likely if you put in enough effort. Don't let the poor scaling of these subjects make you think that it isn't possible to get a high ATAR. Last year someone got 99.95 doing drama.

You can get a 90 atar with any set of subjects dude.

I had a mate in 2010, who completed his HSC with Adv. English, General Maths, Modern History, CAFS and Society and Culture, and he got a 97 ATAR.

Doing Standard English and Industrial Tech only stops you from getting 99.95.

It shouldnt be an issue, however, you may need to compensate for standard due to its horrible aligning.
