Hey guys I have a couple of questions about coop
1. Will Co-op have the textbooks for second semester available?
2. Do they sell lab coats here?
3. How do you buy stuff at Co-op? Do they have the textbooks on the shelves and you take the ones you need to the counter or do we have to line up and ask them?
4. How bad are the lines at Co-op if you are going to buy textbooks in the first week?

1-Some are available, some aren't
2-yes they sell lab coats
3-you go there and depending on the book that you want it might be stacked on the ground or it might be in a shelf, however judging from the fact that you're a first yearer, you'll most likely find all your textbooks stacked on the ground. (Call someone if you cant find them)
4. The lines will be pretty bad.. Best thing is to do it early in the morning(9 am)

Source: i work there lol

Don't buy books for your second semester. Books get updated or replaced from time to time, if you have timetable issues or happen to fail a subject it might be an extra sem before you do the subject making that even more of a concern. You might even decide to transfer courses or universities.

Regardless of that it's also just a good idea to wait a week or two in before buying textbooks anyway.

And get a co-op membership. You make your money back on it super quickly and it lasts for life.

Might also be worth trying to find the books second hand. Places like the SRC bookshop and textbookexchange.com can be good. Or bookdepository.com (free shipping but can take up to 2 weeks).
Ok thanks! How do I get Co-op membership? And wheres the SRC bookshop on campus?

You can get a coop membership at the shop. I think they're about $20 (can't remember exactly).

SRC bookshop is level 4 wentworth.
they're $25 but there's a cashback deal right now so its basically for free.. read about it on the website.
