95% in economics trial? (1 Viewer)

Is it VERY hard to get 95% in my economics trial? I want to get this very badly so that I will be ranked first (if the others get less than 90) yaya thanks. We don't use the cssa thing.

Generally yes. You're M/C and essays have to be top notch. You think about it, is it possible for you to only loose 5 marks in the whole paper?

Depends on the paper and marker(s) of course.

Assuming you have a nice paper (i.e. nice essay questions basically) and easy markers...

19/20 for MC
38/40 for Short Answers
19/20 for Essay 1
19/20 for Essay 2

(here you have lost only 1 mark for each 20 questions evenly)

or

20/20 for MC
37/40 for Short Answers
20/20 for Essay 1
18/20 for Essay 2

or

any other combination of losing only 5 marks...

and so on...

Doesn't seem IMPOSSIBLE but nevertheless, it'll be very difficult to pull off if you don't have an absolutely fantastic exam day (i.e. luck is also on your side).

If your school doesn't use CSSA then it might use independent or your school makes their own trial exams for Economics.

Very tough regardless of the trial you're sitting, however you'd probably have a greater chance with a school written paper because i find the questions are more descriptive.

Basically have to pump the paper. For me, my marks tend to fall from the essay questions. Praying to god that the CSSA does not fuck me up with a retarded essay question.

Well to put things into perspective, being a low 70s students in the end, I did the same thing for trials (3 hour crams the day before) and got 80% in my trial (which would align up to an almost 90 mark in HSC).

But yeah getting a low 70's in the end, I'm guessing I was more like on 60% raw lol.
