So I'm coming first in legal, ive beaten everyone in the past two exams by 10 marks. However the person coming second beat me in a test the other day by 5 marks. Would I still be ranked first?

We don't know?

You've given us nothing on the weightings of any of your assessments.

probably. you're ahead 20 marks so 5 marks won't make a difference assuming that weightings and all were the same

Depends on the weighting of the assessments. If you beat him in assessments that weight more, then you should still be 1st.
Common way to calculate: 1/(total mark) X (weighting) then multiply by number of marks you earned for that assessment.

What where your marks for each examination? And did you best them by 10 marks in each assessment?

I'm assuming you beat this kid by 10 marks for the first 2 exams, you should be ahead by 4.7 marks
