Your English rank isn't even that so-so, considering your school! You should get 92ish at minimum with that rank... I know someone in a top 5 school who got 93 in English despite ranking 30ish, so yeah haha. But definitely try to smash externals to maximise your chances of obtaining that .95

Haha hopefully! English is the weakest subject at NSB though, so there's that to consider...

Anyway thanks for the feedback guys, might make a new thread with confirmed ranks, but right now full steam ahead to station fix-up-english!

nao way sensei. Assuming OP gets all at least band 6's (~90) that would be 96 equivalent. Anything more would add ofc

Can't remember if it's top 60%~ of cohort or top 40%~ but one of the two % will have an average of students getting 99+
I think NSG had 40~ students get 99+ (either the year before last, or the year before the year before last)? I'm assuming NSB will have around the same number.

Maths ext 1 - 1 (equal)/115
Maths ext 2 - 2 or 3/69
Physics - 2/70-80
Chem - 1 or 2/60-70

All these estimates are ridiculous. Assuming average/expected HSC results, 99.9 min, most likely 99.95.
