Cut off should definately be high 80s to 90. This exam was much too easy compared to last year. State ranks will be 100 in the HSC

I doubt the cut off will be this high because, although you may have thought it was "too easy compared to last year" (which it was to some extent) you gotta factor in everyone in the whole state and their outlook.

The situation will probably be: the cut off will follow trend and be about low 80s (81, 82 etc.) but any exam mark above this threshold will be increasingly more difficult to attain; that is, the alignment to a 90 exam mark will be more lenient than the alignment to, say, a 96 exam mark (which may need like a 95/100 raw). This is my spin on how the BOS will ensure the bell-curve distribution of marks...

where did you lose all your marks from?
Pretty sure it'd be in question 15. I only got 3 marks in that fucking section LOL.
I got ~73 with 7 in MC and a few silly mistakes throughout Q11-14

MC LOST 4 marks

Q15 got 3/15
Q16 got 2/15

The rest i did it all but when i check it again,
I differentiated when it says integrate and integrate when it says differentiation

GG !!!

Thats how me got 60s!!!
Could have got 70s though !!!

Yes but whether it's a good or bad effect depends on how the other students in your grade performed

Hi just curious to see if anyone thinks Im a chance of a band 6: my school rank was 19th with 82 (so pretty strong cohort) and based on the solutions already posted I think I got about 78.

potentially could edge into band 6 but the cut off would be around 80 - 83 I reckon. Internal could pull you up

OK thanks cause the lowest school mark for my school was 70 which is quite high for the lowest ranked. Fingers crossed.
