Just called Newcastle to ask when the interviews will be released, and the lady said they will be sent out tomorrow morning! They won't be sending them out in "batches" and will release all interviews at once. For Sydney siders, that means we're receiving them on Thursday!

When you receive your interview, please post:
- UMAT score (all sections please)
- ATAR/GPA
- Interstate
- Rural/indigenous

The next 48 hours are gonna be agonising...

I called the uni again today, and this time the girl I talked to (Melissa) said that the letters haven't been sent out yet, and that she doesn't know when they'll be sent out. She says, and I quote: "it could be sent this afternoon, or it could be anytime - but hopefully you'll hear from us by the end of the week. I don't know who told you that it'd be sent today." Bummer. I guess it's back to mindless waiting........

I'm prettyyyyyy sure that you only get a letter if you're offered an interview.

Yeah, the uni said to expect them today/next week depending on where you live. (but I live in Sydney and got zilch in the mailbox today )

I live 25 minutes away from UoN, in Metford. And I haven't received anything yet. I want to be hopeful and think that I might receive my letter later. Am I being too hopeful?

... and I'm a non-school leaver. Will finish my Master degree this year with good grades.

I saw that you live in Newcastle - does that count as being rural? If yes, then yes you should expect an interview. If not, it might be hard to snag one this year, sorry

Hello.

Newcastle is not rural. It actually counts as metropolitan.

However, I live in Metford, and that counts as regional (not rural, not metropolitan).

Thoughts?
