no, uni's too busy for romance, just like high school
but also getting a job isn't the perfect time to date
and being in a new job isn't right either
being in an old job you probably have ambitions which romance would ruin
retirement seems about right but then you're probably not wealthy enough to support a family
nah screw it romance is dead anyway, like you

tl;dr there's never a perfect time to date so harden up and try it anyway

I think almost everyone opens to the idea of dating when they start uni, this happens especially when people have just finished HSC and went to an all girls/boys school and finally start mingling with the other gender on a daily basis, the rest is history when hormones start kicking in. Apart from that people usually have more time on their hands to do other things so it definitely works.
