Estimated ATAR v Real ATAR (1 Viewer)

Hey guys!

I just thought we'd share out estimated ATARs from school (half yearlies estimates, Trials estimates)/personal estimates etc. and compare it to our actual ATAR

I'll begin:
Trials estimate: 94
Adrita estimate: 93/4
Personal estimate: 93

Actual ATAR: 96.1

Smashed my original ATAR goal, which i originally thought was impossible due to the half yearly estimate. So very happy with what i got

school: 98.90 i think it was at trials with unscaled marks

idk i tried really hard but I thought scaling would rek me or something. Was both surprised/not surprised if that makes sense.

No one gave me a definite estimate, but at about half yearlies some teachers/parents: 70-85 approx then at around trials: 90
Personal: 95-99 thought my cohort would do better in math extension 2 and get external exam mark around around 90ish, but they got 79,71,67,59.... while me+1st=93(want recheck)
Completely failed internals and came 3rd- moderated assessment-81
Actual: 97.80, slightly a bit disappointed, no one i know doing the same subjects as me has gotten lower than this so far lol
Might seem a bit cruel, but some kids at my school expecting 80 atar got <50 made me feel a bit better about mine. My friend is like crying with 99.00, he expected bit higher

I remember estimating yours, iirc I said 99.80, 0.10 short of actual ATAR estimate.

So they all ranged from 98.35-98.95, and matrix got it right!

I ended up with 98.35

Would have liked 98.5 for the MQ scholarship though haha! Still super happy though as a was aiming for 95!
