Last of the "father knows best" trilogy, Ang Lee did not disappoint, three hot sisters and good plot twist.

Drugs and sex. This film captures the complicated family relationship of a white family that's so different from Lee Ang previous trilogy. It shows that Asians value family and filial piety whilst white values self gratification?

Verdict: 9/10

The entire fucking movie was shot inside a BMW, at night, on a freeway, over a course of three days! Fucking genius. Watch how a man's life deteriorate through only phone conversation, most unique film ever. Second Tom Hardy film watched today.

Verdict: 8/10

This documentary explores the evil of the American covert operations under the excuse of war on terror. It explains what JSOC is and the sanctioned killings of American citizens by their own government without charge or trail. Welcome to the land of the free...

Ang Lee first film with all white cast managed to achieve 11 Oscar nominations and a 98% RT rating. Despite all the accolades, the film is a bit too classy and slow for my taste.. Beautiful English countryside scenery and custom design, must watch on 1080p.

Verdict: 8/10

Kate Winslet must be like "this film will get me the role in Titanic!"

The film deals more with death as well as love. A constant reminder of memonto mori. The final twist is heartbreaking to watch.

Winner of the 2013 Oscar for foreign language film, one of the best French ever made, a must watch.

Verdict: 10/10

Name: The wind rises 風立ちぬ (2014)
Language: Japanese
Director: Miyazaki
Tomatometer: 89%
Audience Score: 85%
Type: historical anime

Quite possibly Miyazaki's final work, the wind rises involves around none other than the infamous Mitsubishi Zero that dominated the American navy in the early half of the pacific war. The story is emotional and well written, about a man's ambition and his love, between building a perfect engineering marvel and the guilt of making a killing machine. This is a must see, as with all other Miyazaki's work.

Verdict: 8/10

The test flight of first prototype of the Zero.

The Interview

Verdict:

I know understand why it's banned in North Korea
how can u not know? They are basically suggesting that Kim Jong Un manipulates people 'honey dicking' and does shit like have fake fruit. Also the death scene of Kim Jong Un has to aggrevate North Korea. I think this film is propaganda suggesting that the US can take down North Korea.

About a girl from civilization what fall into the sky, and meets a boy from Earth that protects and rescues her from government trying to catch her? Sounds familiar? Sounds like a copy of Miyazaki's Laputa. Beautiful animation and voice acting.

Like I said I only realised that AFTER I watched the movie, because I didn't watch the trailer, I just heard that it was banned in North Korea and didn't know why (I assumed most of what would happen in the movie)

So I watched the movie to find out for myself

Most foreign movies are banned in DPRK, so your statement is pointless.

A perfect documentary about a man's quest to become the perfect Sushi chef. Everything about this film is perfection. I would never have imagined a film about a food can look this beautiful. The cinematography is the best I ever seen in any films.

Look at the bokeh effect that I thought would be only achievable on a DSLR!
