LOL you guys are the biggest trolls. DONT DO MGMT1001. HOLY SHIT its a WAM DESTROYER. My mate did it and got 75 and offered to do honours. That's how hard it is. Do accounting if you are a very logical person. Do microeconomics if you like to visualise shit moving around in your head. Good luck. Dont touch mgmt.

ACCT is easier but ECON more interesting. If you're a good student, shouldn't be too hard to get a HD in either.

And yes do not do MGMT. Biggest tip in uni is to avoid all wishy washy subjects. They will kill your WAM.

yes but do it latest as possible, so your wam doesn't get rekt
your wam will get "rekt" regardless. Wouldn't it be better to do it now, first year first seem, that way you can get higher marks than you would at 4th year, since the courses you are doing now are easier than the courses in 4th year

If you are looking to transfer, then avoid doing first year. Otherwise no issue doing it in first year. And as someone mentioned the subject will help with latter academic writing. Also great place to start making friends with other first years :)
