Hey, I am going shopping on this week to get school.

I was just wondering what school materials I should get.

Thanks

I'm not sure what's required specifically for your school but anyway:
pencil-case equipment:
-pencil case if you need
-pens (red, black, blue etc or just buy a pen pack)
-lead pencils
-sharpener
-eraser
-highlighters
-ruler
-optional: glue, white-out, scissors

book/ folder supply:
-lined paged books (>120 pgs)
-grid paged books for maths
-display folders if you need

home supply:
-storage folders
-loose leaf lined paper
-sheet protectors
-optional: sticky notes

Oh my god > A< I have an obsession with school supplies shopping...

  • 128pg A4 Binder/Exercise Books [One for each class or you can buy some spares]
  • Thin notebooks for formulas [In Maths, Physics, Chemistry etc]
  • Ballpoint pens (blue, black and red - colourful is optional) [I recommended the Papermate InkJoy 300RT 1.0m ballpoints]
  • Pencils OR Mechanical pencils (with refill lead)
  • Highlighters [I take at least 4 colours in my pencil case]
  • Sticky note pad, smaller sticky note pads
  • Sticky flags
  • Liquid/Paper white out
  • White rubbers
  • Ruler
  • Pencil case
  • Scientific calculator
  • Plastic folders [for loose papers from classes]
  • Folder booklet (with 6 plastic folders) [I use it to sort out homework I need to do and submit]
  • System/Index cards [for speeches and making flashcards]
  • Loose leaflet paper
  • Binder (optional, I have a binder to separate HSC Business from my Preliminary subjects)
  • Binder tab dividers, binder tab folder

These are optional and things I usually leave at home:
  • Sticky tape
  • Stapler
  • Hole puncher
  • 30CM Ruler
  • Glue sticks
  • Scissor
  • Sharpener
  • Whiteboard
  • Corkboard
  • Book end
  • Colour pencils
  • Paper clips

IMO you shouldn't bother purchasing white-out because then you'll get used to just quickly scribbling out mistakes and rewriting what's correct. It's a waste of time to white-out your answers (especially) during examinations.

snowflakeptical and WrittenLoveLetters gave you fairly comprehensive lists, but I will just add you will need plenty of pens. I don't know about others, but I went through way more pens in Year 11 than I expected so definitely make sure you buy a few. Have fun shopping :)

I'm re-using a lot of my past year things so I haven't added my extras

True, but I write-out in my class book because I need to understand my writing to revise. However for maths and doing practice questions, crossing out all the way!

This year, I'm bringing a binder folder (to separate Business Studies from all my other subjects). And then a folder...of folders (?) to organise homework o: !

I considered bringing an expandable, but there were too many pockets for me T___T!
