Hello, I am currently writing an essay on the causes and effects of an unequal distribution of income and I am having trouble on finding some graphs to use. Right now I only have the Lorenz Curve.

Yeah, for distribution of income/wealth - I'd say for ''evidence/economic theory'':

STATISTIC - Gini-coefficient (also more generally, average income levels by age, gender, location, etc.)
DIAGRAM - Lorenz Curve

are enough.

Draw a pie graph?
NOTE: Do NOT use pie graphs/column graphs/etc. in your economics essays.

1. They can be time consuming to draw up.
--> Essentially, they have the same ''effect'' as statistics, which makes them not worth the effort at all.
2. They don't illustrate your knowledge of economic theory to the marker.
3. Just don't do it.
