If you read all my previous post you'd see I clearly accounted for this 'research'. Again, in a nutshell, there are Muslims out there who are smarter than most atheists. I acknowledge the trend you are highlighting (which Wikipedia states more or less is influenced by demographic and socioeconomic factors) but you cannot claim definitive superiority in this area.

Although I can see how driven you are in this topic for whatever reason and will not change your mind, I'll go ahead and use a hypothetical scenario anyway; a high IQ person is born and baptised a Christian and remains a Christian. How does his religion possibly impact his natural intelligence given at birth?

Assume that majority of them are Christians which can a fair assumption because 60% of Australian population are Christians, and therefore a even higher % in white population are Christians. So if the performance are categorised by religion, then Christians are the worst.

Asian's aren't smarter. They just have better infrastructure. There's a reason why English speaking uni's top the world yet asian uni's are lagging behind despite the white kid's abysmal high school records.

This study looked at how religiosity ("..involved beliefs, frequency of church attendance and/or prayer, or participation/membership in religious organizations") and intelligence were related. The findings of this study showed that the more intelligent a protestant christian was the less strongly religious they were, with and opposite or non-significant relationship for jews and catholics.


This study did not look at muslims, does not provide a relationship between intelligence and religiosity for muslims and does not refute the empirical fact of muslims having lower average IQ than non-muslims.
