Hi guys; I'm broke and I decided not to pay $380 for the UNSW physics briding course. So I guess I am going to take it on myself.

The following topics the bridging course covers are:
SI units
Waves
Vectors
Forces
Dynamics
Newton’s Laws
Energy & Power
Electricity
Magnetism
Electromagnetism

How much in depth do I need to learn? Is it mostly prelim based?

Thanks

The UNSW physics bridging course is not really based at all on HSC physics to be honest. It's based more on Fundamentals of Physics, which is sort of an introduction to 1A. Maybe you could consider taking Fundamentals in sem 1 and 1A in sem 2 if you didn't to HSC physics?

HSC Physics is useless for uni physics.

You will not be disadvantaged if you did not do it for the HSC. You will be disadvantaged if you didn't do at least 3U maths

I changed it up a bit in terms of what you need for 1A and higher 1A.
