i bought a seagate 2tb portable Slim as a drive for my 128gb ssd mac whihc is full. It's really good, very fast transfer speed and really small for a 2tb drive. would recommend.

They'll probably say they can offer a really low price. Maybe post a separate thread about this if you think you might need advice what to do with it. If the computer is really old, it might not be worth fixing or upgrading it and might be better to get rid of it or use it for some applications.

At the moment, it's hiding in a wardrobe and no one wants to even touch it
I don't even know... I'll postpone until I have time to ask the computer shop
