Help! Opal Card and ID? (1 Viewer)

Have my opal card, but can't get my student ID card till 5th March. Am I allowed to still use opal when I go for o-week, even though I don't have that as proof I'm a student?????

Yes because the new system already has your ID details and they can search it up.

You are not required to show your concession sticker at all. However, ID might be called upon so that they know that you are using your card and not someone else's.

How does this affect me?

The Concession Opal card will replace the previous system of foils attached to your student card, though foils will still be available for students travelling outside the area covered by the Opal scheme.
