Hey guys!

For Chem, we have an assessment to do two tests, one for the unknown anion and the other for the unknown cation. We're allowed to bring in the diagram and we have to write observations and application to solubility rules.

How exactly can you prepare for this? Btw, we havent done a practice yet

are you allowed to bring the diagram in LOL

woah, so lucky, apparently at my school my friends who do chem have to rote learn the ions tests...

but just know your chemistry skills such as reliability and validity and accuracy and how to write up a method, drawing a diagram; etc.

If you're allowed to bring the diagram then it's almost the equivalent of an open book test imo. Just remember your solubility rules and make sure you change write all the equations down properly and in there correct states.

Get your sample and split into smaller samples (a drop is enough). Just add drops for various counter ions and find what precipitates then use the table. Easy.
