So I'm on 10 units (fk)

The gen maths test was way harder than expected.

Not even half the topics we studied were in the exam, it was very different. Half the year failed the exam, but it has dragged my confidence now.

The highest mark was like 60-70.

majority failed including me.

what was the weighting? That mark will impact your atar considering your doing 10 units, i suggest you start studying for maths asap and make sure your acing your other subs.

Use these holidays wisely dude

You're lucky in that you know your marks for your half-yearlies whereas I have to wait until school starts again, so I don't really know if I should go ahead or go back and revise what I've already learnt. You, however, have the luxury of knowing what you need to do these holidays, so don't waste this opportunity

marks and rank mean nothing. just make sure you are up there within the distribution of your cohort. If everyone failed, everyone gets dragged down by the same accord. Most important thing is understand and knowledge - find out where you went wrong. I would be interested in seeing a copy of your exam by the way.
