Generally, you should know that feel when you start getting "CEEBS" and drained. So I learned ahead for every subject, But I'm dead burnt out lol.
does anyone know how recover from being burnt out and drained?
I went full retard, and crammed lolIt's really about persisting tbh; have a reason why you study and if you find it, memorising notes (this shouldn't be your sole way of prep for trials btw) shouldn't be a qualm. But remember, the HSC is not a race, it's a marathon.
Also please take breaks - no one can study 24/7 lol.
I might need to change my study routineGenerally, you should know that feel when you start getting "CEEBS" and drained.
Stop when you get that feeling and recharge ^^
Just rest for a few days.
Why is that, I try and get my study done and dusted straight without breaks so its finished quicker.recharge your batteries
know your limits
its pretty much addressed
more than 7 hours of study a day is pushing it. Don't do more than 90/120 minutes without a 20-30 minute break. For a 3 hour past paper practice have about 45 minutes at the end to recover (maybe have lunch?)
that is your problem then. you need to have breaks regularly even if it is just 15 minutes every 90 minutes. even then the recommended is more than what I am suggesting. Why is that, I try and get my study done and dusted straight without breaks so its finished quicker.
Leaving me time for other things to do.
Something which I am currently experiencing in prelim but only for chem and physics...i can't study a long way before my exams. Never have been able to my WHOLE life apart from the 2 weeks before an exam. I seriously need help. For some reason I just can't start until 2 weeks before....but i know with trials if i start 2 weeks before it is not going to end well.
I want to do well (I am doing extremely well right now) and i know i only have a short time until I finish and will have 4 months off, and i also have seen what laziness can do (my brother was really smart but did barely any study during the year and would waste his time at home and he got a 94 Atar...when he was capable for a 98 - as he had been dux of the school since year 7), so i don't need anymore motivation to study.... i just find i have too much to study that I don't do anything. I also have the tendency to want to give up on life when i don't understand anything in a subject (either in class or at home) when the rest of the class does (especially in 3 unit maths and physics and chemistry).
Like i have forgotten almost all things for all my subjects and when i study i have to start from the very first topics and it just seems like I am climbing up a giant never ending ladder.
I seriously need help because trials are VERY SOON, and I will not have enough time to study if i don't start soon.

With regards to this, on the days before a final exam if you can really push it out you can do about 10-12 hours of past papers and study in a day (not recommended unless it is the actual days before the exam from experience).or if past paper practice
7:30 - 8:00 = set up study area
8:00 - 8:45 = breakfast
8:45 - 9:25 = exam prep/set up room
9:25 - 12:35 = 3 hour PP study block + 10 min reading
12:35 - 13:50 = lunch break, plus help with jobs and exercise
13:50 - 14:30 = light study/exam prep
14:30 - 17:40 = 3 hour PP study block + 10 min reading
17:40 - 18:15 = 35 minutes free time
18:15 - 19:15 = dinner break
19:15 - 21:15 = 2 hour study or night off
21:15 - 22:45 = cool down/relaxation
