haha you reckon? i am ranking 1st but i know there's a big gap between people in james ruse and our school lol
To secure your best chance make sure that you keep that rank until the end of trials - From there on in it's anyone's game, take advantage of the time you have from the end of trials to the HSC to do well in externals.

Good Luck iI have faith in you :D

Oh really, thought it was the motivation and the genuine 'like' towards the subject that got you good marks
and i hoped you've read that im ranking first in my school.

If i had no other choice, you will be the only reason i'll get state rank.

thanks

I'm just saying a lot of people like chemistry (I did) but that does not mean you will state rank alone. You are up against literally the whole state so your genuine interest won't get you very far. You need to be probably ranked first in your cohort and get a really good final raw mark in the HSC exam

I'm pretty sure i beat quite a few rank 1's in the top 50 schools, doesn't mean i'm getting a state rank.

Alot of people like chemistry, most chemistry Olympiads don't even state rank.

Having a passion for chemistry is important, however the most important thing is how hard you study for the tests.
