Yes, why do you ask?Lmao Sammy, do you go to Ngo & Sons by any chance?
At Least I'm not the only one hereYee Goodlife
haha im so glad im one of the rare people that can do good in both maths and english. But maths is betterYeah English I am terrible gg no re for English... My fate is always predetermined
It's a polynomial qs from a while back, but we are still up to conicsOh nothing, I just recognised that sheet in that photo. Are you only up to Complex Numbers?
It's not as hard as I thought it would behaha, glad to know im not the only one doing 4u in year 11
Pree much. I've learned to always expose myself to harder and more challenging things, and the stuff you did before doesn't seem so bad anymorelol yeh, im actually enjoying it quite a bit, especially when we did curve sketching
i was doing 4u hw and then moved on to 3u and all of a sudden 3u became so bland
I wonder, why do ruse students outperform others? I think it's only because of that maturity towards study at such a young age (245/300 in selective as a twelvie) coupled with the competitive environmenttotally true, it's all in the head....
if u want 5u, just go ruse or something, they probs have their own class for it and everything
best of teachers go to selective schools... my school's only good maths teacher went to hornsby girls this yearI wonder, why do ruse students outperform others? In that case, if a student becomes self motivated in later years, they theoretically have the same chance to a 99.95?
There has to be something I'm missing . What's so special about ruse? Teachers maybe ?

YES ME TOOIts kinda got to do with everything you said. The self-motivation of students comes from the healthy competitive environment, they have, i assume, good teachers cause they wouldn't hire anyone into the best school in NSW and also i think cause 95% of the students are asians and indians, they have high expectations from their parents. I'm the kind of person who would love to be in that type of environment
I feel ya, we only had two good maths teachers, one is white (lol i know) and one is viet. The white teacher retired last year and i was soo devastated and i only found out 2 weeks ago that the other teacher might leave as well. He is such a good teacher, unique style, heaps of experience and can easily land a job in ruse. He basically got me through all my tests from year 7 till nowbest of teachers go to selective schools... my school's only good maths teacher went to hornsby girls this year
Well, I can say for sure there are ALOT of horrible teachers at my school , along with some exceptional ones .best of teachers go to selective schools... my school's only good maths teacher went to hornsby girls this year
wow i don't think I have ever been taught maths via the internet in school, all done by teacher.Well, I can say for sure there are ALOT of horrible teachers at my school , along with some exceptional ones .
I remember we were bored and made a list of dodgy and legit teachers. Dodgy teachers cover 66.6% of my school.
My physics teacher did a phd and wrote the jacaranda book. He is the worst teacher I have ever had. Never teaches, just rambles on about random stuff. He knows his stuff but cannot teach.
My Chem teacher is pree much like : write up this prac, do it. K bye
Economics teacher is non existent. We have had subs more than him
3U teacher DOES.EVERY.SINGLE.THING.ON.GEOGEBRA . We spent like a week talking about how they found out what Pi was, they got twins to walk around/along the circumference and diameter of a circle. It's cool, but we actually gotta learn something sometime
I think he pulled of a lesson on perms and coms using GEOGEBRA animations. How is that even possible
My English teacher is great. For the first time I feel like I understand what Dickens was trying to tell society
My 2U teacher is perfect. Theory, example questions, homework , asks if anyone needs help from last weeks homework, repeat.
We cover and understand everything.
Good teachers probably go to ruse or are bought from rich private schools
