SMH nothing for Africans and Arabs?! I was hoping for an option that paid respect to one side of my ethnic background, but now I'm just reduced to an 'other'.

Exactly, and this is the definition that all Australian-born Aussies should take.

Otherwise, there are no "Australians". Not even Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are "Australians" since "Australia" was founded by the British on the land that Aborigines belonged to.
