Ah yes, soon the year is coming to the close and rumour has it that Social is going to commence. I'm pretty indecisive whether I want to go or not, since we're planning it and last year formal was OKAY.

Is anyone planning to go to their socials? and where are you having it? I'm pretty sure our one is going to be on a boat, which is interesting.

LOL, well if you don't have any idea was "smart casual" is for grills. I recommend a dress that isn't maxi, above the knees. You can always go more tight, but personally, being a flat Asian, I like wearing skater dresses

And for guys, when they say smart casual, its usually a nice shirt, the ones you wear to formal, but without the blazer, more casual with rolled up sleeves and the usual black pants, meh.

Not sure what kind of social, but basing it on my boyfriend's social

I don't plan to go to social- it's on a boat as well and frankly- I'm not a party person. Formal last year was dead shit boring because few of my friends went so I had no one to talk to, and the ones that did didn't want to socialise with anyone so they stayed in the same point the whole entire time. So that left me. Alone. This year no one in my group plans to go so there's no way I'm going.

Though, drowning my competition does sound like a good idea, maybe I'll reconsider - but then the people who go aren't the smartest of the grade either so... I'll train them to be in my zombie army? Ahaha

eh well im a bit meh about social this year. I dont think im going to go... its 'casino themed' and now on land, after a long dispute with our brother school (before if was going to be on boat!). And same, it was a bit boring. My close friends dont really go to these things, its quite expensive this year and I dont even know any of the dancey sorta music that they play at these things.

eh well im a bit meh about social this year. I dont think im going to go... its 'casino themed' and now on land, after a long dispute with our brother school (before if was going to be on boat!). And then the music. I don't like dance music, although it's better than rock or metal. I especially don't like dubstep/electronic music and that's all they seem to play on loop for 3 hours. Obviously no one likes a gavotte to dance to
