hmm..
Don't about you, but all we did was look at stats and graphs for smoking vs lung cancer rates
Graphs are a major in this sort of prac. try plotting EspeciallyNotWeird's graph and also try plotting smokers and their age vs non-smokers and their age, this should be enough.

Should we memorise the numbers or only the general trends?
What kind of questions really could they ask?

Epidemiological studies indicate that there is a relationship between smoking and the
incidence of lung cancer.
What information would have been gathered to establish this relationship?
(3mks-2007)

An epidemiological study of lung cancer, cigarettes and death rates produced the
following data.
[graph: price of cigarettes generally increasing. Cigarettes per day smoked by adults generally decreasing. lung cancer deaths generally decreasing.]
Using these data alone, you are asked to report on the likelihood of reducing lung
cancer by increasing the price of cigarettes. Present your evaluation including
limitations of the information provided
(5mks-2010)

Lol yeah seen that question probably should prepare for those short questions too.

There is a hint for "modelling and science method" for the topics of communications and maintaining a balance? Do i just go over the methods of experiments or? Also for blueprint of life the hint was "meiosis" .. do i revise ALL the phases od meiosis or will there only be a question (e.g. a diagram) and ask you what occurs in this stage labelled X or something? Thanks :)

Well i vaguely know what the prac areas will be on as i said above. e.g. for the blueprint of life section of the prac test, it would be something on meiosis.
What do you mean?
In practical tests they can literally test you anything from the second column in the syllabus. For example, in blueprint, they can give you a pedigree tree - it's not completely restricted to meiosis lol
Unless you mean your teacher explicitly gave you some sort of hint...?

How about that pipe cleaner prac, where you cut small lengths and shape them to model the chromosomes as they move through interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase (+cytokinesis)?

You reckon that could be done in 10mins?
