pretty much in the same boat as you, enjoy comp sci as a hobby, i'm probs gonna look into doing flexible first year.I don't know, originally I wanted to do comp sci, but I liked it as a hobby and felt the math was overwhelming. I wasn't confident at it being something life long, and I felt bored anyway. I love programming as a passion, but can't see myself sitting in front of a computer screen making a program for some corporate boss.
Then I wanted to do B.Business + B.IT Science majoring in Finance or Accounting, but honestly that seems boring. My cousin did something similar focusing on commerce/finance w/ account and now works at NAB a few positions under ceo..not my cup of tea
I'm not sure. I'm considering teaching, particularly science. Pay starts at $60k which is f*king heaps imo...
It's not long or expensive if it is truly what you enjoy.But I don't like the idea of spending so many years at university / racking up massive HECS debt.
