Suggestions:
Maybe when you're showing a formula it should be edited onto the screen rather than being zoomed.
Also as engaging as it is it would be perfect if the camera is face on.

It would probably be helpful if you could show the full powerpoint that your using.

But looks great so far.

I thought about this and was going to suggest it but who would look at a screen that moves once every few minutes it would be boring... Its good that he records himself as well as it provides some sort of interaction and you don't get bored.

By the way I have to ask... You said one reason that GPE cannot equal to mgh (or more so the formula is broken) is because on different planets the surface of that planet would have 0 GPE and thus 0-0 = 0 work done which is a fallacy. However, wouldn't it also be the case with a planet identical to Earth? If we use the "New and redefined formula of GPE " GPE would be same at the surface of Earth and at the surface of the new planet so again work done = 0?

LoL! Who is this?

By the looks of that sentence, you still have plenty of English studying to go before Monday! :p

Think about it this way.

Moon is 384,400km away from Earth.

Figure out GPE 384,400km away from surface of the Earth.

Figure out GPE on surface of Moon.

Why are they different? :)

Because GPE calculations assume that theres only one planets mass. So thus its again broken...?

mods should sticky this thread when more videos are posted
That'd be cool!

Haven't shot any more videos as the last 3 lessons we have gone through their prelim exam and we have just done some calculation questions. I am going to begin to video all of our lessons (including problem solving sessions) from now.

So, should pretty much be updated every second day or so

Soz guys,

I have been having issues with the video editing software which I have been using -- being unable to import the videos taken from my iPhone :\

Probably my fault for getting an iphone :\

Anyway, I am going to start taking my laptop to class now and record directly into the software, rather than having to import a video, so hopefully this will fix the issues which I have been having for the past week and then I can upload more videos.

I have added two videos regarding the calculation of g from a pendulum or computer assisted technologies.
