Just wondering as I've heard many different reports on this topic.

For subjects which involve calculations (I do mathematics chemistry and engineering) does it matter whether you use a pencil or pen? In mathematics my teacher told me to not use a pencil as the scanner may not be able to read it.
Note- I despise pens and their existence

thnx

In maths usually it is necessary to make sure graphs and stuff are done in pen. If you do them in pencil, go over them in pen.

I'd go over pencil graphs in pen, because I think they scan papers for mathematics now.

I used a pencil in the previous years and it was fine.
