do standard if ur teachers recommend it but be at the top 5 ranks in ur school to be on the safe side from scaling
but at the end of the day it its ur choice.. dont do it just because ur friends r doing it or u like the class.

Move back up. Advanced and Standard requires the same amount work in my opinion.
Advanced just scales better and more people get a band 5/6 in it.

go back to advanced now. How hard is it to bloody memorise essays??

Write generic essays --> get teachers and tutors to edit them heaps ---> Memorise them -----> Easily a High Band 4, to mid band 5.

Look, just because eighty people are telling you to do Advanced, and one is telling you to do Standard, doesn't mean that one guy is correct. It's your choice, but remember you have to deal with the consequences. This is your final chance to get a chance at a high ATAR.

Then again, it doesn't sound like you want/need a high ATAR anyway.
