Hello everyone,
What food/drink have you smuggled into HSC?

I have noticed people bringing in lollies (which didn't get confiscated)
However, my mate bought in Beroca (orange cordial coloured drink) in a clear water bottle and it got confiscated, which doesnt make sense to me.
I want to bring in a sandwich or something.
Is this allowed? Or will they think im writing notes on my white bread?
What things can we bring in?

I have snuck in lollies before but to be fair they were already in my mouth.

I'm not sure if food is allowed though. I know my school doesn't allow food in the exam room but I'm not sure if that's also a BOS stipulation for HSC

Best to ask your HSC supervisors

I think generally food is not allowed; perhaps they suspect people may cheat using them.

Yeah I think there are more things to worry about than this lol, it's a 3 hour exam that goes by so fast.

Worry about studying now.

What if i bring a bottle of water in that has not much water in it, and then i bring coffee granules in my pocket, and then during the exam i place them in and quickly drink it before they see the water colour changing.
Well why dont you also carry bread lettuce and tomatoes in your pocket and when theyre not looking quickly make a sandwitch...

im pretty sure you're allowed to bring in a small snack as long as it is in a clear plastic bag. my friend from last year said that she brought a clear bag of crackers in her chem exam but couldn't actually eat it cause she was too loud. and in the english exam i saw a girl bring in a clear container of lollies.

You can, but it might get confiscated so you never know. Lollies in a clear bag seems to be fine.

I would NOT have anything other than water. Anything else will do more harm than good.

Simple. Within 1-3 hours of the exam, MAKE SURE TO HAVE EATEN. Then you can survive the exam.

Come on, there's no reason to have a snack in the exam, is there?

Some guy sitting to the left of me during Paper 2 brought in an opened muesli bar, with the whole plastic packaging and stuff. Nothing happened to it, and it was in clear view on his table. I honestly have no idea anymore.
