i think whoever said it is wrong (cant be bothered looking at who posted), used the formula from the first part and set it equal to 48000.

The answers subbed in 48500 for the Principal value , rather 48500 was Amount left to be payed. So it should've been 48500 = ....

isnt 48500 the principal? u sub the amount left to be paid to be 0, then u find n

idk. what billion air did though , was assume that since the payment was a one time thing, all it did was make the amount in the account 48 000, and then went on.. and also it was at like 60 000 (or something like that) so the payment made wouldn't have been 48 000 anyway?? But it still gets interest though yeh??

idk i did it both ways and i cant remember which one i crossed off now.

I'm hoping i crossed out the right answer. If not, then there is no way im getting over 96.

you'll lose 1 mark, 2 if they're really harsh, but i doubt youll lose more than 1

A 75 will scale up to mid-high 80s.

usually they look for marks to give though so hopefully they wont take away more than one..
